I have an old deluxe tinker that I have carried since 1990,I have used it for a variety of tasks everyday, from opening dog food cans to opening the mail, but it always seems to become more valuable at Christmas time. I have put together more toys and installed more batteries than I can keep track of, not to mention all the presents it has opened. My wife uses the sissors to cut wrapping paper and to trim bows, I usually set it on top of our dressing mirror so that everyone will know where to find it when it is not with me. It has come to the rescue on many occasions and will always be a part of our Christmas preparitions, plus it is red and looks perfectly at home during that time of the year. It dates me to say this but even though it has gone from putting toys together and installing batteries to fixing earings and trimming hair it has always provided excellent service and been worth it weight in gold. I'll bet Santa even carries a Swiss army knife. I can almost guarantee it.
