I have been a collector of Swiss army knives now for many years and own approximately two dozen of your knives and tools. My knife collection is in the hundreds and I own more of your knives than any other single brand name. I carry one Swiss Army knife every day on me, and usually others in my vehicles. The most recent one I have purchased is the Swiss Army Rescue tool and am so impressed with the knife. I was also absolutely thrilled when I got it home and finally put in on my night stand at the end of a very long day and found that is glows in the dark. What a cool knife that shows nothing but quality. I am part of a division and regional Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Teams that are part of an organization that has over 45,000 employees. I am going to recommend that the company will purchase these tools for team members. I would like to see this knife in action, to save lives.
My other Swiss Army knife story is regarding my father in law who recently passed away. My father-in-law was a really great man, who was very nice and extremely loved by all his family and friends. When I went to first visit my mother-in-law after his death, everyone was still very devastated. My relationship with my mother-in-law had not been very good over the years. While I was there, she pulled aside and brought me out his prized Swiss Army Ranger knife, which he carried every day, everywhere he went. She said it was his most valued possession and she knew that he would want me to have it. I greatfully accepted and my relationship with my mother-in-law who is 80 years old has never been better. Not a life and death story here, but just a family who was clearly better off in many ways and times due to Swiss Army Knives.
