| | | I had received a Swiss Army Super Tinker about 18 years ago as a boy scout. I used it all through scouting. It is a very reliable knife and not too heavy to carry around. After becoming an Eagle scout and moving on I continued to use the knife for many purposes. A couple years later I used the knife as an EMT for the volunteer fire dept. It was extremely useful in cutting through the clothing. The Victorinox brand seems to be very sharp and keeps it's sharpness for a long time. I moved on to a new job working in a warehouse where I used the knife for box opening and cutting alot of rope for bundling. After working there a couple years, I once again changed jobs into the offset paper printing field, where I used my Super Tinker to constantly cut straps on cases of paper. I was also able to cut a perfect line when manually cropping paper, something I could never do with scissors. I've used my knife for this job for nine years. I then started working in a nursing support unit. One of my jobs is to set up incoming patients for traction. Scissors are to heavy to carry in scrubs pockets, but my knife is the perfect fit and works flawlessly. The knife, scissors, and phillips head screwdriver are the most used features, and have stood the test of time. After all these years I still have the original toothpick, and tweezers. The only reason that I am looking into buying a new one is because my blade has become worn down from sharpening it over the years. I swear by the quality of Victorinox knives, and will be a life long user.
